Corporate Social Responsibility

Corporate social responsibility is not simply words on our website, but an integral part of how we conduct our business, make decisions, and set our priorities. We are very proud to share three examples of our commitment.

One Pencil One Smile

As part of the United Nations International Day of Persons with Disabilities on 3rd December, Hager Group has launched its first campaign to educate and mobilize employees worldwide about disability, one of the four pillars of our diversity approach.

Hager Group collected colored pencils for an associations which support disabled children in India: Snehalaya Association, Asha School and many more based in and around Pune. Thanks to the commitment of our employees worldwide, more than 28000 colored pencils were collected!
To support disability drive, Initiated by Hager Group, In the past two weeks various team members visited these schools and has spread smiles on the faces of the school kids and their guardians.

Hager Supports Mumbai & Pune Mobiles Creches

Mobile Creche is a NGO which provides support for the children of construction workers. Too often, these children are let to roam free on the construction sites, which lead to serious safety hazards.

As their parents move from sites to sites, they get no education and no hope for a better future. The Hager group has always been attached to the fact that its growth should also be the growth of the people with a responsible attitude towards the society.

The vibrant growth of the construction sector in India nurtures our own growth and development. By supporting mobile Creche and its ‘child-friendly sites’ policy, We are pleased at Hager India to encourage every child living on a construction site to be safe, healthy and educated, and able to enjoy his/her childhood.

Mathoshree Bal Sansthan

Mathoshree Bal Sansthan, a noble initiative to support less privileged children, was started by Mrs and Mr. Dandekar.

Based out of a small home in the out skirts of Pune, the sansthan is home to 12 kids aged between 3 – 14 years.

The sansthan believes that the desired changes in the lives of such children will come only when more and more privileged people start participating proactively in finding a solution for the betterment of children .

The sansthan ensures that the kids are well taken care and all eligible children are sent to schools. That is because education is both the means as well as the end; it empowers these children and evolves them as better citizens.

Hager underscores the fact that helping is not simply a matter of dispersing money but of making a deep, long-term commitment and casting a hard eye on results .

We are humbled to be supporting this noble initiative and wish them the very best!!
