SPDs type - II for protection against switching surges

These types of surge protective devices to be used to protect electrical & electronic devices against switching surges generated due to switch off of heavy inductive loads like transformers, heavy motors, etc. These SPDs are also recommended in cascade on electric installations fitted with type-I SPDs.
