Earth leakage relays with separate detection torroids

Earth Leakage Relays (ELRs) are used to detect earth leakage currents in an electrical networks. These devices ensure protection of installation and persons against direct & indirect contacts.
In event of an insulation fault, these ELRs trips the circuit breakers fitted with shunt release.
